In 1948 at the Bonneville Salt Flats, Roland Free broke the motorcycle land speed record, reaching just over 150mph. Considered to be the most famous picture in motorcycling, this shot catches Free on the record-breaking run wearing a bathing suit, shower cap, and a pair of sneakers while lying flat-prone to minimize wind resistance. Printed to order on Fuji crystal archive paper, numbered and certified, and comes encased inside a hand-made solid wood black or white frame that's ready to hang. Limited edition of 495.
